The holidays are here and for us that means it is time to make desserts! This year we started with an easy one. Trix Treats! Who wants boring old rice treats when you can add some color?! These are so much fun!
A colorful take on your favorite Marshmallow Treats
Melt butter in sauce pan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth. Stirring constantly.
Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly and firmly in buttered 13 x 9 inch pan. Cut into 2 x 2 inch squares when cool.
Remove from heat and add Trix cereal. Mix together until cereal is well coated.
Use a buttered spatula to press cereal/marshmallow mixture evenly into buttered 13 x 9 inch cake pan. Cut into squares when cool.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Place the 3 ingredients in a mxing bowl and stir well.
Form balls with mixture and place on baking sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are slightly crispy.
Let cool and enjoy.
I will tell you all a little secret...I have never really liked peanut butter cookies, but I love these! They are soft and delicious and so easy to make!
